Nunito Sans
Nunito with the rounded terminals taken off, which sounds like a smaller change than it is: the same skeleton stops reading as friendly and starts reading as neutral, and a face that was for headings becomes one for paragraphs. It also carries four axes where its sibling has one — weight, width, optical size, and a lowercase-height axis called YTLC that raises the x-height on its own. That last one is rare enough that most software will not show you a slider for it.

Restart any application that was already open before it will show up. Nunito Sans is a variable font: those files carry all 9 weights at once. Some older software — Word, Canva, and Photoshop before 2018 — reads only the one weight the file defaults to, and for Nunito Sans that is Extra Light (200), not the regular.
