- Is my font uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything happens in this page. There is no server doing the work and no copy of your font left anywhere afterwards.
- Which format should I put on my website?
- WOFF2, and only WOFF2. Every browser still receiving updates reads it, and it is the smallest of the four by a wide margin. WOFF is worth adding only if you have measured that you have visitors on browsers from before 2016.
- Why can I not convert TTF to OTF here?
- Because that is not a format change, it is a redrawing. The outlines are held in different kinds of curve, so one has to be approximated into the other and the hinting is lost. Tools that offer it instantly are usually renaming the file, which produces something no font program will open.
