Merriweather Sans
Drawn as the sans partner to Merriweather, and it inherits that family’s priorities: a large lowercase, sturdy strokes and wide letters that stay open on a poor screen or a cheap printer. It is warmer than a grotesque — the curves come from writing rather than geometry — without becoming informal. Set it beside Merriweather and the pairing needs no testing, since the proportions were made to agree.
