Josefin Sans
The sans half of the pair whose slab is already in this archive, and the giveaway is the same in both: the x-height sits exactly halfway between the baseline and the cap height, which is a 1920s proportion and nothing a modern text face would do. It makes a headline look elegant and a paragraph look like hard work. Variable from 100 to 700 with a matching italic, and it installs at 100 in software that cannot read the axis, so it will arrive looking like a hairline.
