B612 Mono
Airbus commissioned B612 for aircraft cockpit displays, where a misread character is not a typographic problem, and the research behind it is published rather than asserted. The monospaced cut carries the same decisions into a fixed grid: open counters, unmistakable ones and sevens, and letterforms tested for legibility under vibration and glare. It is named after the asteroid in The Little Prince.
